Celebrate National Family Week with a family camping trip!
25th to 31st May is a very special time this year. Not only is it Camping & Caravanning Week, but it’s also the UK’s first ever National Family Week.
National Family Week has been created to promote good family life and to encourage families to spend more time together. During the week, thousands of events and activities for families will be happening around the country, from sports days, fun days and storytelling sessions to an attempt to set the record for the World’s Largest Picnic on bank holiday Monday 25th May. There are also competitions to enter, including the Favourite Family Recipe competition and a challenge to find a Big Family Idea that will improve family life in the future.
What better way to celebrate both of these national occasions than by organising a camping or caravanning trip with your family? With over 2000 events already planned for National Family Week, wherever you have pitched your tent there will be family activities happening close by. To find out what’s going on, search the event listing on the National Family Week website.
